Mr. Richard Young

Richard Young is the Founder and President of Young Business Development, a San Francisco-based strategic consulting firm he established in 1990. With more than three decades of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and global networking, he has advised a diverse portfolio of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, specializing in start-ups, growth-stage companies, and organizations facing unique strategic challenges.

Raised and educated in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, Mr. Young has cultivated an extensive international network of business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. He is widely recognized for his ability to connect the right partners, facilitate meaningful collaborations, and develop innovative solutions that achieve mutual business objectives.

His professional experience spans numerous industries, including real estate and resort development, high technology, renewable and waste-to-energy solutions, medical devices, education and educational technology, cybersecurity SaaS, entertainment, fine art, and international finance and investment. He also brings significant expertise in sponsorship development, fundraising, special projects, and large-scale event production.

Prior to founding Young Business Development, Mr. Young held senior management positions for more than 25 years with several of San Francisco's premier entertainment venues, where he led major event productions and developed strategic partnerships for leading corporations and nonprofit organizations.

A proud United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, Mr. Young has also worked closely with Panorama Group for more than two decades. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to building trusted relationships and creating opportunities by bringing together the right people to accomplish meaningful and lasting results.
